Adacotech Corporation and Aikawa Press Industry Co., Ltd. have started working on the automation of inspection of flat bus bars, an important part of automobiles.

Aikawa Press Industry Co., Ltd have factories in the Philippines, Vietnam, China, and Hungary in addition to our domestic factories in Yamanashi and Akita, and we have achieved integrated production of presses, resins, and assemblies with global quality.

In this automation project, we are applying AIST’s patented technology called “HLAC”, which is an image and video analysis technology using a feature extraction method.In addition to the ability to perform highly accurate analysis with a small amount of data, the model can detect almost 100% of abnormalities, including unprecedented cases, because it “detects what deviates from normal” rather than what is learned as abnormal.Through the introduction of Adacotech technology, the company plans to automate the inspection process and achieve a zero defect rate, thereby reducing the burden on the company’s inspection work and revitalizing and improving the efficiency of the entire factory.The situation of the meeting for this collaboration was also covered by BS TV Tokyo.https://adacotech.co.jp/news/2400
